To state the obvious, this year has had its scares and lows. Off and on I have had time to contemplate on the day to day events in this flying year. In an attempt to spot the silver lining, I am listing down a few things I’ve learnt along the way-
1. I wasn’t in my hometown when the lockdown was instituted. I was on one of the last flights home before they shut down back in March. Being extremely close to my family, the thought of being away from them for an indefinite period of time was rather frightening. However, through my experience of cutting it so close and yet making it home, I learnt keeping the Faith isn't such a bad idea after all and developed a positive belief system.
2. At home, as for most of us, practically everything including work had come to a standstill. After a month of binge watching shows, I was craving to do something productive. I learnt Perseverance.
3. Finally, I could start work on a new children’s wear collection, which I’m sure you would agree, has been long overdue! Somehow we were faced with one hurdle after another. The timelines stretched beyond what I had planned for. I learnt Patience and Adaptability.
4. If you have been following my account for a while, you probably know how much I enjoy traveling. It’s my source of inspiration and motivation. It gives me hope and a much needed break. I have barely stepped out of home since the lockdown was declared about 9 months back. I learnt to never take anything for granted.
The Announcement
So while Covid-19 has brought on numerous challenges it has made us dig deep and find strength. On this grateful note, here’s announcing the launch of our new children’s wear collection - 'The Story Unfolds'! Each piece of this collection is extremely close to my heart. I believe each garment has a story to go with it and as this story unfolds so will the collection. The new collection is calm, relaxed and yet very chic! Hoping it brings joy and a big smile to each of our little Taramira kids!
We will be sharing all the new designs in the days to come. We hope to have your continued support, which we have enjoyed (not taken for granted), in our previous collections as well!
Much love and happiness to all of you who are still reading this long post!
