Our new collection is being unraveled in the form of a story. This tale is of a little girl named Neeya and her day to day events and reveries, where our little Neeya likes to dress the part she plays. It is about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, about a kind heart and a warm soul, and about the everyday and yet special days.
A fine December day
As we enter into the festive winter, our little Neeya, a warm and gentle little girl decided to visit her grandparents for her grandma’s birthday. She was so excited not only did she take her bunny, Hop, with her but she also took a few balloons along. She loves visiting her grandparents. They have the tastiest cookies, which her grandma bakes at home. The warm scent of ginger and cinnamon was fresh in the air when Neeya reached their home. She had chosen to wear her Forest Green velvet dress for the occasion as it reminded her of snowflakes on pine trees and seemed a perfect fit for the season and for the occasion!
A day when learning can be fun
With school being online and so much to be done at home, Neeya often finds herself studying by herself. She finds ways to make it fun and interesting. Like most children, she likes practicing her math! It’s quick, doesn’t need to be learnt by heart, follows a logical sequence and well she almost always gets the answers right. So today she is playing teacher as she studies, teaching her students (read toys) basic addition. With the bold print, a Peter pan collar, box pleats and pockets for her pens, Neeya thought the Tulips Dress looked the right amount of formal for her to achieve her teacher role in her pretend play. Also, the tulips could make any class light and enjoyable!
A musical day
Due to the current circumstances, Neeya hasn’t been able to step out much. However, she was enrolled for online dance classes. Considering how much she enjoys music, jumping around and playing outdoors, it isn’t a wonder how much she loves to dance. She follows the teacher’s instructions for most of the class till she gets carried away and decides to dance to her own tunes! That, in fact, might be her favorite part of the class – an impromptu, straight from the heart dance. For her dance class today, she chose to wear a Lilac Pintuck dress as she felt the lace detail on it looked like it danced with her.
